Since 1978, High Quality Natural Vitamin and Supplements for Your Health

May. 2023 From Mr. Torii

”Full of greens flood your sight Little cuckoos up in the height Fresh bonito as a seasonal delight”

This is a famous Japanese haiku poem from the Edo era which perfectly represents this season’s climate, foods and natural beauty.

The other day, I visited Okinawa and South Korea, and it was the best time of the year for both. The development of Seoul, South Korea is truly amazing, and I was surprised that their skyscrapers surpass the height of the skyscrapers in New York.

The more modernization progresses, the harder life becomes for an old man like me. Everything from procedures at the airport to shopping on the street has become computerized, and for an analog person like me, instead of convenience, life has become more time-consuming and difficult.

When I was staying at a hotel in Korea, I had a very happy experience because of a mistake I made. I forgot my house key at the hotel, but I was really impressed by the wonderful response of the hotel. I am sincerely grateful. If you have such an experience while traveling, your affinity with the whole country increases. I believe that the world would be a better place if everyone could care a little more for others. I have heard that taxi drivers in some countries throw away mobile phones that customers leave behind in their cars because it is a hassle to find the owner. I know it’s troublesome, but I’d like you to imagine the troubles of the person who lost it. I immediately sent a thank you email to the hotel in Korea.

Goodwill and kindness are really nice things. I will not forget this happy experience and will continue to practice my “a little car- ing” campaign.

In Korea, I studied under a teacher who makes tea using flowers and citrus fruits. I was overwhelmed by the teacher’s commitment. I have never seen anything made with so much attention in modern times. Mass production and mass consumption cannot produce truly high-quality products. The philosopher Nietzsche said, “Go back to nature.” Now is the time I want that to happen.

I would like to create an opportunity to convey this teacher’s philosophy to everyone. Her method of making tea is carefully handcrafted from the ingredients, carefully examining the pro- duction area and production method. There are other teas that are similar, but the main feature is that she has her own hand- crafted fermentation method. You can tell the difference in taste and smell when comparing the teacher’s tea with other teas at the same time.

Today’s young people who grew up with instant food may con- versely think that the real thing is a fake. To prevent this from happening, we must make efforts to keep the “genuine” light burning. Those who know the “genuine” have an obligation to pass it on to their successors. Since its founding, Magnus has continued to stick to the “genuine”. And from now on, I will continue to devote myself to making products that are more discerning. This is Magnus’ philosophy and mission.

No matter how advanced medical science is, the number of sick people continues to increase. Why? It’s because your daily hab- its are bad.. In order not to regret getting sick, please do “a little caring for yourself”. Your heart, stomach and intestines are working even while you sleep and they are an important part of you. With just a little effort, they have the power to revive themselves. It sounds like a lot of things to do every month, but please ❶ eat fresh and delicious food (with minimal additives), ❷ move your body frequently, and ❸ try to get a good night’s sleep.

Anyway, don’t give sickness a chance. It doesn’t have to be com- plicated. Practice the three rules above. It’s okay to re-determined to do it over and over again.

If you haven’t yet, start using the Magnus Health Calendar today. And let’s use Magnus products wisely to promote blood circula- tion, metabolism, and immunity.

Early summer is the season when many things awaken, but it is also the time when many illnesses occur. Take good care of yourself. Do not overdo it. Until the next issue, I hope everyone stays well.
